What is Wonderwave?

Wonderwave is a subscription-based design and development service tailored for growing agencies, marketing teams, and scaling companies. It provides you with access to a broad range of design and coding expertise, along with a dedicated project manager all for a straightforward monthly fee. This setup lets you expand your design and development capabilities quickly, without the hassle of traditional employment or relying on individual freelancers from marketplaces.

How do I request a new task or project?

Once you start with Wonderwave, you’ll receive a unique request form linked to your Asana board. Whenever you have a new task or project, simply fill out the form, and your project manager will be notified.

It’s best to keep your task queue populated with multiple prioritized tasks so the next request can be picked up as soon as previous ones are done, preventing downtime.

Your Monday task board will show all ongoing requests, similar to this:

Do I communicate directly with the designer and developer?

When working remotely with our designers and developers, we understand that communication can sometimes be challenging. Most of our talents are not native English speakers and focus on their technical and creative skills, while customer service skills are not their core strength.

To simplify communication, you will have a dedicated project manager who acts as the liaison, handling all communication between you and the team. This ensures faster responses and consistent understanding of your business needs and preferences.

Can we communicate via Slack or MS Teams?

Though it might seem convenient to integrate your team via Slack or MS Teams, we found that these tools often cause fragmented and lost information.

Instead, all communication happens through your task board in Asana, keeping comments and updates centralized and transparent for everyone involved.

How does your pricing work?

Our pricing model is simple: hire a full-time designer or developer on a monthly salary basis. You can request any number of tasks or projects, but the work will proceed sequentially (one at a time) to ensure quality—multitasking is not part of our process.

Each hire is specialized; for example, excellent developers may not be great designers, and vice versa.

Wonderwave provides you with access to a vetted team of designers and developers across various specialties. Your project manager oversees all requests to ensure the right people are assigned and the work gets done.

You can add more talent if needed to scale your operations up or down monthly, depending on your workload.

Our fees are flat monthly rates with no hidden charges or long-term commitments.

Note: We do not offer per-project or per-task pricing.

What’s the difference between Tasks and Projects?

Task: A single item on your to-do list that requires completion, such as designing a logo or fixing a bug. Tasks are the building blocks of larger goals.

Project: A collection of related tasks aimed at achieving a bigger objective, such as launching a new website. Think of it as a puzzle made of multiple pieces (tasks).

What does your 100% Satisfaction Guarantee include?

We commit to delivering your tasks with a smile and continuous improvement. If you’re unsatisfied, we offer:

Alignment Attempts: We’ll make 2-3 rounds of adjustments to meet your expectations.
Compensation for Misalignment: If issues persist beyond the second round, we’ll compensate you for lost time.
Collaboration & Flexibility: Our Project Managers ensure clear communication. If needed, we bring in QA support.
No Need to Search for Replacements: We handle hiring and coaching, so you don’t have to.
No Refund Policy: Our subscription is non-refundable, but we work hard to fix any issues.
Exceptions: If collaboration isn’t working, the guarantee may not apply.
Course Correction: For significant errors, we may assign new team members to ensure success.

How long does it take to build a ‘simple’ website?

It depends on multiple factors:

Number of pages required.

What’s the difference between the Maintenance Plan and the All-Inclusive Plan?

Maintenance Plan: Focuses on minor updates, bug fixes, and routine website maintenance for sites previously created or managed by Wonderwave. Includes weekly progress reports.

All-Inclusive Plan: Covers extensive web development, design, branding, and more. Suitable for clients with frequent updates and detailed reports.

Each plan offers different turnaround times and scopes, so you can choose based on your business needs.
